Color Identifier is owned and operated by Azizbek Asadov.
This Privacy Policy explains how Color Identifier handles information when you use the app. Color Identifier is designed to work offline and process color data on your device.
Information We Collect
Color Identifier does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information with us.
The app does not use:
- accounts;
- backend servers;
- analytics SDKs;
- advertising SDKs;
- tracking technologies;
- subscriptions;
- in-app purchases.
Information Stored on Your Device
Color Identifier stores app data locally on your device so the app can remember your preferences and saved color library.
Local data may include:
- saved colors;
- saved palettes;
- color names and color values such as HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, and CMYK;
- app settings;
- a compact widget snapshot containing recent saved color titles, HEX values, and creation dates.
This information remains on your device unless you choose to copy, export, or share it using system features.
Camera, Photos, Images, and Videos
Color Identifier may request access to your camera or photo library so you can identify colors from live camera input, images, or videos.
Camera frames, imported images, imported videos, and sampled video frames are processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us and are not permanently stored by the app. The app stores only the colors or palettes you choose to save.
Widgets
Color Identifier includes iOS widgets that can show your latest saved colors. To support widgets, the app writes a small local snapshot to the iOS app group storage shared between the app and its widget extension.
The widget snapshot contains only:
- saved color title;
- HEX value;
- creation date.
The widget snapshot does not include images, videos, camera frames, source media paths, notes, palettes, or account information.
Clipboard, Sharing, and Export
If you copy, share, or export color information, that action is handled through Apple system features and any apps or services you choose to use. Color Identifier does not control what happens after you share information outside the app.
Third-Party Services
Color Identifier does not send your data to third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app may use Apple system services, such as camera access, photo library access, clipboard, sharing, local storage, and widgets, only to provide app functionality on your device.
Children's Privacy
Color Identifier does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal information or operate a backend service, no personal information from children is sent to us.
Data Control and Deletion
You can manage local data from within the app by deleting saved colors, clearing saved colors, resetting settings, or resetting all local app data. You can also remove local app data by deleting Color Identifier from your device. iOS may manage some system-level backups or device storage behavior according to your Apple settings.
Security
Color Identifier is designed to minimize data exposure by keeping core color processing and saved color storage local to your device. No method of local storage or device operation is perfectly secure, but the app avoids collecting or uploading your personal data.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the effective date above.
