Palaash Bhargava

Hello!

I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Economics, Bonn.

I am an applied micro-economist whose work lies at the intersection of human capital formation, identity and social networks. 

I completed my PhD in Economics from Columbia University in 2025 and was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Chicago between 2025-2026.

I, along with Tarang Tripathi, also run the research wing of Aawaaz Education Services in India. If you are planning on running experiments in India (especially in the education space) and are looking for implementation partners, please feel free to reach out.
