Palaash Bhargava

Welcome to my website!

I am currently a fifth year PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at Columbia University.

I am a development and labour economist whose work focuses on education, social networks, behavior, climate and household finance.  My research spans both developed and developing countries with several ongoing projects in India, Kenya, USA and France.

As a part of my other interests, I also work on curating cultural and historical meta datasets for social scientists. 

Prior to joining Columbia, I was an Assistant Instructor of Economics at the New York University, Abu Dhabi.
