I'm an assistant professor of mathematics at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh under the supervision of Prof. William Layton. After spending a year at UC Riverside as a visiting assistant professor, I joined Indiana University Bloomington as a Zorn postdoctoral fellow, where I worked with Prof. Mike Jolly.
I'm an applied mathematician working at the intersection of mathematics and physics. My research integrates numerical analysis, computational experimentation, and rigorous mathematical theory to investigate nonlinear phenomena; particularly in fluid dynamics and turbulence. I am also increasingly exploring connections between mathematics and emerging fields such as deep learning and machine learning.
