This Privacy Policy explains how the Pakistan Plantation Management System (“PPMS”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Android application for recording plantation activities by public users and departmental staff.

User profile data from your account (e.g., full name, user type, department name/designation, province/district/tehsil/city if provided by you or your organization).
Verification status (for departmental accounts).
Site details you submit (e.g., planted site/forest name, site type, campaign & type selections, year, species names, number of plants, area covered, remarks, project name (optional)).
Images/photos you upload for the plantation record.
Photo metadata (EXIF): Photos may contain metadata (e.g., time, device model, geotags). We don’t intentionally use EXIF data; however, it may be transmitted along with the image. If you are concerned, please remove metadata before upload.
Precise GPS coordinates of the plantation site.
Public flow: coordinates are fetched automatically in the background when you submit (not displayed to the user UI).
Departmental flow: coordinates are fetched automatically, with an option to enter them manually if auto-fetch fails.
If permission is denied or the fix fails, submissions may not be possible (because coordinates are required for verifying plantation sites).
Basic device/app data for performance and security (e.g., app version, OS version, limited diagnostic logs in case of errors).
