I'm some dude who enjoys buying and collecting toys as well as statues, scale figures, manga, CDs, art books, etc. 

"I'm hopefully not alone in wanting more text-based action figure reviews on the internet. In a world where YouTube and video reviews dominate the review space, I'd like to present reviews and other content in a more old fashioned sense." -me when I first made this.

Over time, this website has become more varied than I anticipated. I originally intended for this to be a place for toy reviews and that's about it, but now it's turned into a nice place for me to record various hobbies and interests. This website is for me as much as it is for others. 

The Pair of Ducks Hotel is a play on the album title "Paradox Hotel" by the Flower Kings. It's also very similar to the name of my private Discord server, to which you are not invited. Sorry.
