Loss of Inertia
60x 78cm   Acrylic on Breadboard  2022

Alterations to this image were inspired by The Missing Secrets of Magnetism by Ken L. Wheeler. There is a lot to be said about 1/phi^-3, but most notable is that I painted it wrong in several paintings, a tragic comedy that we can only laugh at now.  It is what it is.

This is a ratio of magnetic field divergence and is the root of the golden ratio, taken from the book, which can be found free here.

All frequency increases towards rest. So then stillness is potential; magnitude and all physical phenomenon is the loss of inertia from stillness, ie. the loss of potentiality into and as actuality: field perturbation, EM spectrum and periodic table of mass.
