Ozymandias. A name known only because of a poem about a long forgotten king, whose mighty kingdom and great deeds had fallen into ruin, erased from history. It happened to be a name that belonged to an old faerie who didn't appreciate his story, which he'd drunkenly shared in the 1800s, being turned into prose for profit. In petty revenge, he stole the poet's last name (Shelley) to use as his own. 

His past isn't something he likes to talk about, or dwell on, and he will be deliberately vague--or outright lie--whenever asked about it. All he cares to say is that he was once a king of a beautiful kingdom, achieved wondrous feats that inspired many a tale. . .and no one remembers him. 

As a boy, Oz was silly, impulsive, reckless, and free-spirited. As a young man, he was arrogant and prideful, but never unkind. He was prone to telling lies, simply because he found it fun; big ones, small ones, all of them harmless. Most often, he told them to entertain his younger siblings. Still. There was hardly a greater sign of disrespect to the fae than to willingly tell a lie, except for a king to lie to his people . . .

Ozymandias was removed from the throne by his power-hungry younger brother, who not only ordered him exiled, but had his wings removed from his back. Oz was also cursed to leave no lasting mark on the world of mortals which he seemed to love so much; no matter what he did, who he saved, how he tried to do good, he was doomed to be forgotten. Oz has spent centuries wandering the earth, largely alone.
