All her life, Audra was always reduced to a pretty face. It was annoying, but she learned to use it to her advantage as she got older. She even made a career off of it by becoming a model at 15. 

She met many famous and wealthy people during her modeling career--most of whom she thought were shallow and dull--until she met a charming author named William Denbrough. He was a little older, but he was sweet and clever, and he actually cared about what Audra had to say--a rarity in her life. It didn't take very long for Audra to fall for him, and she fell hard. 

It was serious before either of them even thought about it, and they ended up getting married, and making a whole life together. There were all sorts of rumors about them--there always were about celebrity couples--but for once, Audra wasn't bothered by what the media had to say about her. Bill was the first thing she was sure of in a long time, the one thing that she knew was real in her life of airbrushed perfection.
