2021 IEEE International Workshop on Pervasive Artificial Intelligence towards IoT Edge Computing and Smart Inference (paiIoT2021) anticipates to attract a large number of high-quality submissions and foster the communication among academic researchers/scientists, industrial engineers/leaders, and practitioners with a common interest in the interplay among Artificial Intelligence (AI), edge computing, and Internet of Things (IoT). The emerging applications include, but are not limited to, smart health, pervasive health monitoring, mobile health, smart city, smart environmental monitoring, smart agriculture, smart manufacturing, smart home, and smart office.

This workshop aims to summarize and stimulate discussion on these cutting-edge areas, and provide communities with the latest progress, existing challenges, and potential directions. The topics cover multiple categories of practices, including theories and methodologies of applying AI on IoT computing and inference, architecture design and implementation of AI on IoT, and various applications (such as smart healthcare, smart city, and smart manufacturing) triggered by these new paradigms. Advancements in both academia and industry are welcome, and the workshop will provide a lively environment to facilitate the discussions and exchanges among participants. Besides, selected workshop papers will be recommended for further journal submissions.
