Homeschoolers are always up to something interesting (even if it’s just Being Existential). Here, two homeschoolers share some of their most recent and interesting achievements!
Anna Nations: As soon as my mom calculates my GPA, I can fill out a form to officially become an awardee of the College Board School Recognition Award for my PSAT/NMSQT score being in the top 10% of scores and I should also be eligible with my 5 and 3 on AP tests last year.
Gaia Daniel: Last August, I was selected to be a From The Top fellow. Throughout September and October, I attended media classes in preparation for my recording. In November, I recorded in the NPR studio in Saint Paul, MN, where I also got to meet and play for pianist Orli Shaham. My program aired on January 19. I played Une Barque Sur l'Ocean by Maurice Ravel. I also got interviewed by ClassicalMPR. Here is the link to my performance (https://fromthetop.org/musician/gaia-daniel/) and my interview (https://youtube.com/shorts/yj1hzwUOw0M?si=QeQiMu3xxqVbIXAs).

Congratulations to Anna and Gaia for their amazing accomplishments, and stay tuned for the next edition of PAH! in fall 2026: there may be a chance to submit your achievements to the newspaper.
