We are the University of North Texas' Society of Pagans and Witches (SOPAW), a student-run organization working to provide a safe space for pagans, witches, occult practitioners, and those that are curious! We are open to any UNT student to join and/or participate!
A History
A History
Although officially founded in 2018, SOPAW began as an earlier version of itself in 2016, created to allow pagans, witches, and similar practitioners to meet like-minded people and learn more about The Craft and associated religions. Working in collaboration with Texas Alliance of Pagan Students (TAPS), our goal has been, and continues to be, to create a safe environment for all.
Our club offers weekly meetings on Tuesdays from 6-7 PM on the UNT Campus. Our meetings consist of lessons, crafts, and the occasional social. We pride ourselves on offering a welcoming environment and open discussion for all to learn.
