International meeting for river SUP enthusiasts, for paddling in company, tourism, exchange of experiences, demonstrations of techniques, testing of materials, water games, exercises, ...
River sup paddlers will meet on class ww2-3 rivers. Companions and beginners can enjoy paddling on stunning lakes and class ww1 stretches, besides visiting beautiful outdoor nature and renomated touristical sites and cities.
The final day, 20. October, we are participating in the 20th edition of the international AdigeMarathon race through the city of Verona (class ww2).
Friday 11 October: Arrival at the San Francesco Camping, Barcis PN, 3 nights
Saturday 12 morning: Barcis lake sup tour
Saturday 12 afternoon: Easy run (ww1) on Cellina river to Barcis lake (or Barcis lake sup tour)
Sunday 13 morning: Run (ww2-3) on Cellina river
Monday 14 morning: Run (ww2-3) on Cellina river
Monday 14 afternoon: Heading to Valstagna VI and arrival to Paddler's Hostel, 3 nights
Tuesday 15 morning: Run (ww2-3) on Brenta river
Tuesday 15 afternoon: Exercises at the slalom course on Brenta river in Valstagna VI (ww2-3)
Wednesday 16 morning: Run (ww2-3) on Brenta river
Thursday 17 morning: Heading to Canoe Rafting Pescantina Bussolengo VR base camp, 4 nights
Thursday 17 afternoon: Sup tour of Peschiera VR canals on Garda lake
Friday 18 and Saturday 19: Two days run on Adige river (ww2) in camping mode for those who are equipped (or with overnight return to the base camp for the others)
Sunday 20 morning: Verona AdigeMarathon, international race for competitors and amateurs - AdigeMarathon website and facebook
11-14 October: San Martino Camping, Barcis PN - Camping (with shared kitchen)
14-17 October: Paddler's Hostel, Valstagna VI - Dormitories with shared kitchen
17-21 October: Canoe Rafting Pescantina Bussolengo, Bussolengo VR - Dormitories with shared kitchen
Cost of overnight stays: approximately 20 euros/night
Water sports experts knows what they needs. Beginners can use the list below for main equipment.
Board: a river sup is best, but an allround board is fine (classically a 10'6"), better if with 3 low fins, so you can also do the river
Paddle: better if sturdy
Leash: no leash or river leash!
PFD: a river pfd with quick release belt and with whistle
Helmet for watersports use
Full wetsuit or drysuit
Boots: neoprene sturdy boots or light hike boots with socks
Drybag for daily use
Some allround and river boards (possibly with paddle, leash, pfd, helmet) are maybe available for rental, if booked well in advance before the meeting.
Participation in the gathering is reserved for members of the FICT and cost 10 euro.
Therefore, 2024 FICT membership is required (15 euros/year).

Attention! Registration for the AdigeMarathon must be done individually and autonomously by each participant!
No organisation, no guides, no persons in charge, no insurance, thus the meeting is Free for all river sup paddlers!
