From Saturday 3 to Sunday 18 August, an outdoor sports holiday in France, in the French Alps in Eygliers, near Briançon, in the beautiful Durance river valley, a few km from the Italian border, in a wonderful place, with kayak, open canoes , sup, windsurf, racing bike, mtb, hiking boots, ...
Base in a nice campsite equipped along the river: Camping du Lac (map).
Every day group river trips, guided and free, lessons, courses, on the surrounding rivers and on the lake of Serre-Ponçon. Possibility of rental, if booked in time before the meeting.
Alternative programs with bike, mtb, trekking, climbing, glacier, paragliding, windsurfing, kite; as well as simple tourism of delightful villages.
In the campsite there is also a lake for playing, swimming, taking lessons, relaxing in the sun.
In the evening, with around ten euros, a communal dinner self-managed by volunteers in a convivial atmosphere.
Within a few km there are markets and small producers of quality food: bread, cheese, honey, meat, wine, beer, fruit, vegetables, etc.
Volunteers and instructors from various sports and disciplines are welcome for the gathering.
The history of the Federal Summer Rally begins in 1978, and since then generations and thousands of canoeists have perfected their technique here.
During the gathering, the FICT River SUP Trainers will hold river sup guided tours on the Durance river (and, upon request, open waters sup guided tours on the Serre-Poncon lake).
