Phil-Am Golf Club Championship Rules (Revised 2025)
Season Structure
A full season consist of typically 12 designated tournaments (based on 1 per month)
Tournament Types
Regular Tournament
Major Tournament
Club Championship Points (CCP)
CCP awarded based on final standings (see Table A).
Instituted in 2024: CCP adjusted by number of participants:
Final CCP = Base CCP × (Participants / 28)
Example :
1st place with 32 players → 150 × (32/28) = 171 CCP
1st place with 25 players → 150 × (25/28) = 133 CCP
28 players → 150 CCP (no change)
Note : 28 is based on average turnout from previous seasons
Tiebreaks
1st Place: Decided using USGA tiebreak system.
All other ties: No tiebreak; CCP is split equally.
Participation Bonus
Bonus CCP awarded for regular participation (see Table B).
Additional bonuses may be added at PAGA Board’s discretion.
Championship Final Phase
Top 16 players (based on CCP) qualify. (New in 2025)
Among them, Top 10 receive bonus strokes (see Table C).
Final 2 tournaments = Championship Phase.
Club Champion: Lowest combined net score over 36 holes.
Eligibilty
Must play in at least 50% of season’s tournaments to qualify for the Club Championship.
