Pedagogical Advances in Cognitive Systems

At the 2021 Virtual Conference on Advances in Cognitive Systems

Call for Participation

Objectives: This workshop will be the first in a series of five annual workshops seeking to bring together educators in the field of Cognitive Systems to set and achieve goals for curricular development in the field of cognitive systems. The first year's workshop will focus on designing learning objectives for Cognitive Systems course modules at the graduate level in both Computer Science and Psychology, as well as mutually agreed upon metrics for evaluating such modules. Workshop attendees are expected to come with their perspectives on one or both of these topics; the workshop will then be spent discussing disparate perspectives and compiling a set of recommendations that can be shared with the rest of the community.

How to Participate: To participate in the workshop, please visit this webpage to register and to indicate how you plan to participate in the workshop. While a submission is not requested for participation, we expect that those who bring and share resources to the workshop and are involved in the workshop activities will be invited to co-author a paper with the other attendees.
