Package Tracker Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Package Tracker app ("the app") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is provided by LB MOBİL TEKNOLOJİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("we", "us").
1. No sign-up
You do not create an account with a name, email address, phone number or password. When you first open the app, it creates a random account ID on our server. This ID is not linked to your name or contact details. It is stored in your device's keychain, so it can remain on your devices after you delete the app.
2. Information we collect
- Packages you add: tracking numbers and the details you enter for them (such as a package name or note), plus the shipment status and history we fetch for them.
- Push notification token: so we can send you updates about your packages.
- Purchase information: whether you have an active subscription, received from Apple through our subscription provider. We never receive your payment details.
- Device and usage data: device identifiers created for apps (such as the identifier for vendor and app instance IDs), device model, OS version, app version, the features you use in the app, and approximate location (country or city level) derived from your IP address.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. The app does not request permission to track you and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
3. Information that stays on your device
- Camera: used only to scan barcodes and shipping labels. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded or stored.
- Clipboard: the app uses iOS pattern detection to check, without reading the text, whether the clipboard may contain a tracking number. The text is read only when you tap Paste or the "add from clipboard" banner. You can turn this off in Settings > Clipboard detection.
- Delivery photos provided by a carrier are saved only on your device.
- Item name suggestions are generated by Apple's on-device model. Your text is not sent to us or to any AI service.
4. How we use information
- To track your packages and show their status.
- To send you notifications about your packages.
- To provide and verify your subscription.
- To understand how the app is used, measure the performance of our app install campaigns, fix crashes and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. There are no ads in the app.
5. Service providers
We share information only with service providers that help us run the app, and only for the purposes above. They are required to protect it and may use it only to provide their services to us:
- A shipment tracking data provider receives tracking numbers to retrieve shipment status.
- Cloudflare hosts our server.
- Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) provides usage analytics and crash reports.
- RevenueCat manages subscriptions.
- Appstack measures which campaigns led to app installs.
- Apple processes payments and delivers push notifications.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your packages and their tracking history while your account exists. Delivered packages you remove from the app are deleted from our server.
You can delete everything at any time in Settings > Privacy & data > "Delete my data". This permanently deletes your account, packages and tracking history from our server, and the packages and delivery photos from your device. Deleting the app alone does not delete this data from our server.
Analytics and crash data are kept by our providers for a limited period and then deleted automatically. To ask for deletion of this data, or of any other information about you, email us at support@laidbackapps.com with the User ID shown in the app, or ask for help finding it.
Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription. To manage or cancel it, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device.
7. Your choices
- Notifications and camera access can be turned on or off at any time in your device's Settings.
- Clipboard detection can be turned off in the app's Settings.
- You can withdraw your consent to data collection at any time by deleting your data in the app and removing the app, or by contacting us. You can also contact us to access or correct your information.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Data sent between the app and our server is encrypted in transit. The account token is stored in your device's keychain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
