Cub Scout Pack 91, located in southeastern Wisconsin within the greater Milwaukee area, offers a fun Scouting experience for girls and boys, grades 5k through 5th grade, and their entire families. Chartered by the PTO at Wales Elementary School, which is part of the Kettle Moraine School District, the Pack draws most Scouts from the Wales and Dousman Elementary Schools. Most meetings take place at Brandy Brook Community Center or at Wales Elementary School. As part of the Potawatomi Area Council, the Pack benefits from the resources and programming of a larger Scouting organization, in addition to the great events and opportunities within our Pack.
New Scouts are always welcome! Our Cub Scout Pack is open to girls and boys, ages 5k through 5th grade. The program starts in the fall at the beginning of the school year, and families can join at any time throughout the year. Welcome events will be held at the beginning of the school year, or join us at any one of our scheduled events throughout the year to learn more.
Our mission, as part of Scouting America, is to prepare young people for ethical and moral decision-making throughout their lives by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. This is accomplished through a program focused on character development, growth, citizenship, personal fitness, and leadership skills. We offer a positive and engaging environment where children learn and grow through various activities, developing into responsible and ethical individuals. Pack 91 participates in the nationwide Scout popcorn sales each fall, also selling Kringle's, coffee and Christmas wreaths. Selling these products helps Cub Scouts develop important life skills like goal setting, communication, money management, salesmanship, and teamwork.
The product sales provides the funding for the Pack and the Council to operate throughout the year, which allow the Pack to run most events and activities at a low cost or no cost for the Scouts and families.
A portion of the money raise by each Scout is set aside in Individual Scout Accounts. These funds can be used by the Scouts and their families to pay for activities such as weekend events, camping trips, uniforms, and other Scout related expenses. This helps keep Scouting a low cost activity for your family.
