Come meet us!
If you missed your chance to come out and meet our leaders and scouts, don't worry; you can come join us at any of our regular meetings!
About our Pack
We are a small pack of families living near Prospect, PA. Our scouts attend several area schools such as Moraine Elementary, Portersville Christian School, and Connoquenessing Valley Elementary. We meet several times each month and go camping several times each year. Our pack has been continuously chartered through the Presbytarian Church of Prospect for over 50 years! Our pack is also a family pack and we can welcome both boys and girls into our Scouting program.
About Scouting
Scout Mission: The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Scout Oath: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Scout Law: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
When and where can you find us?
We meet on Wednesday nights at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect from 6:00 to 7:00. The first Wednesday of the month is a Committee Meeting for parents and leaders to plan out the activities of the next month. The second and third Wednesday of the month are Den Meetings where Scouts work within their age group to earn their rank. The fourth Wednesday of the month is a Pack Meeting where all the dens work together on the same fun activity. Dens may meeting additional days to satisfy their adventure requirements.
We occasionally "take the show on the road" and hold our meetings at other fun locations, so please reach out to us to confirm our meeting location before you show up!
