Happy New Year to all Scouts and Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed some downtime and took some time to reflect. For those who missed the last Pack meeting and have not yet received a Pinewood Derby Car - you can pick one up from my porch at 404 Broadneck Road, Annapolis, MD 21409. Please drop me a note if you will be picking one up so that I can check you off the list.

Scouts,

Do you need help with your Pinewood Derby Car? Do you need tools, ideas, not sure where to start - then this email is for you.

I will open up our Garage with a set of tables and tools to develop the initial shape and some rough sanding on your pinewood derby car to get you down the path.

The event will be on 1/19 from 3-7 PM. You don't need to register for the event - just show up if you need some help.

Please bring the following items with you:

Pinewood Derby Car

Template, Idea or rough sketch for the car

Any weights you want to locate in or under the car

I will setup a few tables and have the following tools available:

Reciprocating saw

Belt and Disk sander

Hand Sander

Drills & bits

Dremel Tool and various bits

Volunteer Sign Up

Volunteers are needed to make the annual Pinewood Derby event a success.  If everyone volunteers for one item, the effort can be spread around to allow everyone the time to view the race when their scout's heat race is taking place.  Please email Kipp Snow, Cubmaster (kippsnow@yahoo.com) if you have any questions about the jobs listed.
