Pack 184 Blue & Gold Banquet - COVID-19 UPDATE:

Blue & Gold plans are changing due to COVID-19 Social Distancing requirements. The 3/22 event at Lamp Post Diner is canceled. You will be refunded.

If schools are open, Please join us on Monday, 4/20/2020 6:30-8:30pm for a Blue & Gold Potluck at James W. Lilley Elementary School. There will be a SignUp Genius sent around in a couple weeks as the new normal sets in. Everyone is encouraged to attend (and bring a potluck dish!).

This Blue & Gold Potluck will have three motifs:

1. A celebration of Cub Scouting's 90th Birthday

2. Arrow of Light Award Ceremony

3. Webelos-Scouts BSA Crossover

Our neighbors at the Lamp Post Diner were kind enough to release us from our contract. They are a local business that is likely being devastated by a lack of customers and cancellation of any events. Let's help them out. On 3/22, please order a take-out meal for your family from Lamp Post Diner. Mention that you are with Cub Scout Pack 184 and wish them well during this difficult time. Leave a good tip. This is not a fundraiser. We're just looking to help out our Gloucester Township community.

Other COVID-19 related news:

Den Meetings will follow the school's schedule. If Gloucester Township Schools are open, you may meet with your den. If they are not open, do NOT meet with your den. AGAIN, FOR THOSE IN THE BACK - School Closed = Do NOT meet with your den. Not at a park. Not at a home. When schools are closed due to COVID-19, maintain social distance until schools re-open.

I'm 100% on board with creative options. Have online meetups (YPT still applies. Have more than 1 adult present). Go on hikes (separately) and start a photo journal together. There's probably a storytelling/moviemaking achievement for your rank. Work on something like that. Heck, I know there's a video game badge at a few different ranks. Teach about moderation & kindness in online gaming, but also play some Mario Kart. Do your best to keep kids engaged without endangering them or their families during the COVID-19 pandemic.
