At one of our Pack Meetings we welcomed the Needham Police and their service dog Rocket to answer our questions about first responders.
This Fall 2026, Pack 8 and Pack 23 are combining forces. Some details remain to be worked out and we will update these pages as we know more.
Meanwhile, the best way to find out what you do best is to do it. Swing a bat. Pitch a tent. Build a pinewood derby® car. Cub Scouts are at that magical age where everything is new and possible and, most important, fun.
A welcoming community for boys and girls in grades K-5 and their families, Packs 8 and 23 Needham Cub Scouts encourage generous service to community, love of nature and the outdoors, and interest in STEM. Our membership includes families from Needham, Newton, Dover, Dedham and beyond. We have much experience with neurodiverse scouts and have proudly watched kids with ASD, ADHD, and learning disabilities earn their rank and learn new skills.
Our monthly pack meetings are open to the public. Join us at 5pm on the third Sunday of every month (September through June). We will meet in the cafeteria of Saint Joseph School, 90 Pickering St, Needham.
