OYYAS School Closure Resource Guide

The purpose of this guide is to share more broadly some of the youth and family resources we have complied for our Office of Youth & Young Adult Services providers.

If you are concerned about a young person who is using substances or concerned that they may be using substances, please go to the Massachusetts Substance Use Helpline. The Helpline is the only statewide, public resource for finding substance use treatment and recovery services. Helpline services are free and confidential.

Navigating these resources requires internet, here are some resources:

Reduced cost telephone and internet access for MassHealth members and other eligible individuals. This is intended to help members have the required technology to utilize the telehealth benefits.

Low-income families who are not current customers can sign-up for a free 60 day service and get a free self-installation kit that is mailed to your home.

Providers can find helpful links to support children, young adults, and their families during COVID-19 on the Provider page

MA COVID-19 Printable Fact sheets: Information in English, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese with more languages coming soon. Includes visual communication tool to help people who are deaf and hard of hearing communicate with health care providers.
