Owen Sound and District Junior Optimist Club

Purpose

Junior Optimists make our communities better, one service project at a time. We are a youth led service club with 16 members, age 10-14. Our club is a member of Junior Optimist International, which has more than 15,500 members in more than 600 communities.

Outgoing Junior Optimist International President summarizes the 2019-20 Junior Optimist year

The Club collected over 500 items of new and gently used winter "SWAG" - Socks, Warm hats, And Gloves, mitts - for those in need. Way to go Junior Optimists! All donated to Safe'n'Sound and CMHA drop in centre to distribute to those who can make good use of these items.
