Welcome everyone!
My name is Ms. Ellie and I am the Student Services Associate at Oak View High School!
About me:
My name is Elinor or Ellie for short, but I prefer to be called Ms. Ellie. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley (Woodland Hills) before moving out east to Upstate New York where I finished my high school and college education. After I graduated, I moved back to California and have made Oak Park my home. From the amazing school district to the beautiful hiking trails, I've fallen in love with the area and all it offers.
Some of my hobbies include spending time with my loved ones and my beautiful black lab Declan. I love baking, hosting board game nights with my friends, and traveling. In 2020, I took a long road trip to roughly 9 different National Parks and then in the summer of 2023, I traveled to London and Scotland where I most recently got engaged and am now currently planning my wedding set for June 2025!
That’s just a little bit about me, and I'm excited to learn about all of you!
Education:
I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Alfred University in NY. In my senior year I completed an internship at the Alfred Montessori School and the Hornell Area Concern For Youth. At both of these organizations I worked with children of all ages, providing help to them with their homework or any activities they had. Those experiences sparked my passion for working in education, and I can't wait to see where that passion takes me.
I'm thrilled to be working for Oak View HS and engaging with our staff, our students and their families; I'm excited to see what this year will have in store for me!
