Bala Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School and Bharath Senior Secondary School joined hands to organize an exciting overnight camp for Cubs and Bulbuls at the picturesque Thalambur campsite from 21st to 22nd February 2025. Nestled amidst nature's beauty, the campsite provided the perfect setting for young adventurers to experience outdoor life, teamwork, and social responsibility.

The lush greenery and serene atmosphere created an ideal backdrop for various team-building activities, interactive sessions, and bonding experiences. The children enthusiastically participated in competitions, group discussions, and engaging sessions on social responsibility. The highlight of the camp was the enchanting night campfire, which filled the air with joy, laughter, and camaraderie.

Apart from the exciting activities, the children learned valuable life skills. They practised patience and discipline by waiting in line for their meals, a simple yet significant lesson in social etiquette. Staying in makeshift tents added to their sense of adventure, making their overnight experience truly unforgettable.

The camp also introduced the young participants to basic culinary skills. They learned to prepare easy and delicious snacks like bhel puri, an activity that sparked creativity and teamwork. Additionally, they enjoyed engaging art and craft sessions, which not only enhanced their artistic skills but also kept them entertained throughout. Another highlight was the cake decoration activity, where children explored their creativity and learned the art of decorating cakes with precision and flair.

The overnight camp at Thalambur was a perfect blend of learning, adventure, and fun. It not only helped the Cubs and Bulbuls build friendships and confidence but also instilled in them a sense of responsibility and teamwork. The experience will surely remain etched in their memories for years to come.
