Over-C IT, has been owned and operated for about 20 years by Eric Kendall, a Computer Science graduate from Northeastern University. Eric spent the first half of his career as a software developer for some large companies like Motorola and Compaq. In 2002 Eric purchased Lakeville Computer Center and transitioned the company from a reactive IT break/fix shop, to a pro-active managed services company. The main difference is that in a proactive model the goal is to prevent issues, versus waiting for issues to happen.
Over-C IT has always focused on customer service. It's all about people, having a good attitude and helping customers any way you can. That's why Over-C IT's customer retention has been incredible. They still service most of the customers they started with 20 years ago. No ticket system where the customer is forced to type a description of their problem and then wait for a call-back. When a customer has an issue, they call and speak with a person who can typically connect to the customer's PC remotely to view and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
