Hi, I have just activated the Synch modules for both Gmail and Outlook, but although the integrations are active, all of my contacts are actually not being imported into my HubSpot platform because it claims the contacts do not have email addresses (which is not correct). Is there a policy on Gmail and Outlook not wanting to share the email address when synching with HubSpot or is there some way aroudn this glitch to not have to do it by hand (ie export the contacts on Gmail and Outlook, and then load them manually into HubSpot)? Thanks so much in advance for your help on this.

Hi Karsten, Thanks so much for your prompt reply to my question, apologies for me delay replying back. I read through the pointers you provided and that is the weird thing, I actually did follow those same steps advised to synch my contacts on both Gmail and Outlook into my HubSpot account. Nevertheless, on Gmail the synch advised that 500+ contacts were not imported because the system could not find an email associated to these contacts (which is trully odd, how else could they be contacts of mine in the first place right?), and then on Outlook it simply advised that no contacts were found even elegible to import (which is also very weird). What do you think about this? Maybe something I have to toggle on the side of Gmail or Outlook to permit the access to my contacts email addresses? I searched the web but could not find any pointers on this. Will appreciate your advise. All the best, and thanks again!

1) info@domain.com is the main admin email and another user sales@domain.com is sending emails through the Task option (under the sales menu) and the email tasks is assigned by admin info@domain.com. But sales@domain.com is sending via common email info@domain.com.

2) The issue is if email sent via info@domain.com so under the outlook the sent emails is reflecting, but if another user is sent emails via task option and selected the common email info@domain.com for sending emails, then sent mails are not reflecting under the outlook.

To make sure the user sales@domain.com can send emails from the address info@domain.com which will also appear in the Sent folder in Outlook, you would need to connect that email inbox with your HubSpot account for both users.

I have a MAC and my customer has a PC. She downloaded emails into dropbox from outlook, which I downloaded on my computer. The files would not open and asked what app to use to open. I chose outlook. Now, when clicking on the file, it opens an email with the file attached. When I click on the file it opens another email with a file attached. The actual emails uploaded into dropbox and downloaded onto my computer do not open.

Do you happen to know the exact steps that your customer followed to upload her emails to Dropbox? Do you mean that she enabled the Outlook integration to save her email attachments to Dropbox instead, and then she shared them with you?

I rely on Evernote for *all* task management and reminders. Thus, when I send an email that I need to later follow-up on, I go to "Sent Items" in Outlook and click "Save to Evernote." It would be MUCH more efficient if the Outlook plugin added the "Save to Evernote" interface to the message authoring dialog/interface in Outlook.

I'm having the same problem, but it happened when I downloaded from the "coming soon, try it now" button, top right of the outlook screen. So I believe it's linked to the new update coming out for Microsoft 11, and this is in Outlook on my PC.

i had the same problem, for the past 5 days, it drove me crazy trying to fix it, i just fixed it while reading through here. solution: turn off "coming soon" on the top right corner of your outlook, click off outlook and reboot outlook. when it comes back again the navigation pane will be in the bottom position. it worked for me, i hope it works for you guys too

I've been fighting with this issue for days now, struggling to figure out how to even ask how to fix it!. The post by "IanRoberts-2138  Mar 14 2022 at 12:31 PM" below did the trick. Short form - close outlook, open it in safe more, close it, open it normally and the app icon task bar will be back under the left column of information.

PLEASE add the option to prevent the redundant popup window that appears after we have clipped an email. Email filtering can prevent the delivery of the invitation email to the Sales Insight Outlook Plug-in, preventing end users from being able to activate the plug-in.

The email invitation return path is determined by the Marketo user who is inviting in the instance. So if there is a restriction on the domain that the email can be sent from you can adjust this by creating a dummy user with a username with the a domain that would qualify for IT restrictions. Then log in as the dummy user and send the invitation. It will have the dummy address in the From line.

By the way, the above error we all get with external accounts is an incompatibility of the NEW outlook with the popular SpamExperts outgoing spam blocker that most web-hosts use. The new outlook fails to send emails VIA these connected external accounts because it fails the SpamExperts filter due to "Messages should have one or no Date headers, not 2."

outbound.mailspamprotection.com is the address of the SpamExperts service. I have already contacted them, it is NOT a fault on their side, it is the new outlook. The old outlook was passing the filter without problems.

Cognito emails me a PDF and supplemental documents. The subject line of the email matches a column which gets populated during the first step (Create New SharePoint List Item).


My problem starts after I find the email (which usually arrives within seconds of the list item creation, but I've added a 3 minute delay just in case).
