1st in - person MEETING

Our first in - person meeting took place at the ​Sehit Omer Halisdemir Anatolia Religious Vocational High School on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., where the entire program was unfolded. First, all the participants, the Agricultural and Technological Lyceum of Romania Nicolae Balcescu,  the Vocational Lyceum of Tourism of Bulgaria D-r Vasil Beron and the General High School of Greece, 3rd Lyceum of Veroia, were welcomed with a speech by the school principal and a concert by the music teacher of the hosting school. Next, a promotional video for the program, the background of the project, its objectives and goals, the activities and methodology, was presented and the roles and tasks of each participant, were explained. The teachers saw various works and crafts created by the students, and an introduction was made to the eTwinning platform, in which we will participate and the activities we need to complete.

On the following day, the teachers visited a water purification plant, the largest in Turkey, where water is treated before being reintroduced into production. Later the same day, they visited an Institute for the production of environmentally friendly products with borax.
