This Privacy Policy explains how IpTv ("the App", "we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our Android application. We respect your privacy and have built the App to collect as little personal data as possible.
The App allows you to add IPTV playlists in two formats:
M3U URL — a web address pointing to a playlist file
Xtream Codes — server URL, username, and password from your IPTV provider
These credentials are stored only on your device in an encrypted local database (Hive). We never receive, transmit, or store your IPTV credentials on our servers. We do not operate any servers that receive your playlist data.
The following data is stored only on your device and is never uploaded anywhere:
Playlists you have added (URLs, server credentials)
Favourited movies, series, and channels
Watch history and "Continue Watching" positions
App settings (theme, EPG configuration, parental PIN if used)
Ad-frequency counters used to control how often ads appear
Uninstalling the App removes all of this data permanently.
To keep the App free, we display advertisements served by AppLovin MAX. AppLovin and its advertising partners may collect:
Your Advertising ID (a resettable identifier you can change in your device settings)
General device information (model, operating system version, language)
Approximate location derived from your IP address (city or region level)
Information about how you interact with ads in the App
This information is collected and processed by AppLovin and its mediation partners, not by us. We do not have direct access to it. AppLovin's privacy practices are described at https://www.applovin.com/privacy/.
We do not require an account, email address, or password to use the App
We do not collect names, phone numbers, or contact information
We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or files
We do not track your precise location (GPS)
We do not transmit your IPTV credentials anywhere
We do not have any backend servers receiving user data
The information described in Section 1 is used for the following purposes:
Locally stored data — to operate the App (load your playlists, remember your favourites, resume playback where you left off)
Ad data collected by AppLovin — to serve relevant advertisements that keep the App free, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud
Network requests — to load streams from your chosen IPTV provider and to fetch ads from AppLovin's servers
The App makes network requests to:
Your IPTV provider's servers — to fetch channel lists, video streams, and EPG (TV guide) data. These requests are sent directly from your device to the URL or server you configured. We are not a party to these requests.
AppLovin's advertising servers — to load ads, report ad events, and handle GDPR/CCPA consent.
Our configuration endpoint — the App may fetch a small JSON file from a URL we control to determine whether a default demo playlist should be offered to new users. This request transmits no personal data; it returns only a configuration flag.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only third party that receives any data is AppLovin MAX, our advertising partner, as described in Section 1.3.
AppLovin may share data with its mediation partners (other ad networks) in order to fill ad inventory. A current list of AppLovin's mediation partners is available at https://www.applovin.com/privacy/.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a US state with applicable privacy laws (such as California, Colorado, or Connecticut), you have the following rights regarding the data collected by AppLovin:
The first time you open the App, AppLovin presents a consent dialog. You may:
Accept — allows personalized advertisements based on your interactions and Advertising ID
Reject — ads are still shown, but are not personalized
You can change this choice at any time by opening the App's Settings → About → Privacy options.
California residents may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes through the same Settings menu.
You also have the right to:
Request information about what data is held about you
Request deletion of that data
Withdraw consent at any time
Because the App does not transmit personally identifying information to our servers, any such request should be made directly to AppLovin via the contact details at https://www.applovin.com/privacy/. To delete all locally stored data, you can simply uninstall the App.
Locally stored data (playlists, favourites, history) remains on your device until you delete it manually or uninstall the App.
Data collected by AppLovin is retained per their retention policy, available at https://www.applovin.com/privacy/.
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App without parental consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
All data stored locally on your device is contained within the App's private storage area, which is not accessible to other apps on the device. Network requests are made over HTTPS where supported by the destination server. Because the App allows playback from user-supplied IPTV providers, some streams may be transmitted over plain HTTP; this is required for compatibility with legacy IPTV servers.
Because the App does not collect or transmit personally identifying data to us, no international data transfers occur on our end. Data collected by AppLovin may be processed in the United States or other countries; see AppLovin's privacy policy for details.
The App acts as a media player for content provided by the IPTV provider you choose. We do not own, control, or endorse the streams, channels, or media available through any third-party IPTV provider. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of streams you access through the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Material changes may also be announced within the App.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us.
