If you want a lightweight, open-ear solution that keeps your ears safe and aware for long Zoom calls while running or cycling, choose otinsile M97; if you need deep sound isolation, powerful bass, and superior call clarity in noisy offices, choose FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling.
• otinsile M97: Its greatest strength is the featherlight 5g design with an open-ear clip that offers total environmental awareness, but it trades off absolute noise isolation since sound leaks out and in. This pick is for runners, cyclists, and those who wear glasses and need to hear traffic or colleagues without removing their audio.
• FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling: Its biggest advantage is the active hybrid noise cancellation and dual 13mm drivers that block out the world for immersive listening, yet it requires inserting buds into the ear canal which can cause fatigue over many hours. This pick is for commuters, office workers on back-to-back video meetings, and anyone prioritizing deep bass and privacy.
The otinsile M97 is built for people who refuse to choose between safety and music. The defining feature here is the C-shaped hook design that sits outside the ear canal rather than inside it. This creates a truly "open ear" experience where you get 360° environmental awareness. If you are someone who needs to hear a car horn while jogging or listen to your surroundings in a busy park, this is the only logical choice. The weight is listed at just 4 grams per unit, making them among the lightest options on the market. You will barely feel them on your head even after wearing them for several hours, which is a massive plus for all-day comfort.
For professionals who rely on these headphones for Zoom calls, the M97 offers a unique advantage: situational awareness. You can take a call while walking through a warehouse or a gym without being completely cut off from reality. The directional audio technology helps minimize sound leakage, meaning the person on the other end of the line hears you clearly, even if there is background noise. However, because the design is open, you do not get the passive isolation of in-ear tips. This means loud environments like subways or construction sites will still be audible, which might distract some users who prefer total silence.

This product is ideal for sports earbuds enthusiasts who hate the feeling of pressure in their ears. The IPX5 waterproof rating ensures they can handle sweat and rain during intense workouts without issue. The battery life is equally impressive, offering up to 50 hours of total playtime with the charging case, so you rarely need to worry about power. The quick charge feature is a lifesaver too; a mere 10-minute charge gives you two extra hours of use. If you are a glasses wearer, you will appreciate that these clips do not create pressure points against your temple arms, a common complaint with traditional in-ear models. Skip this if you demand heavy bass response or need to block out a crying baby on a plane.
The FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling model is designed for the user who wants to disappear into their audio. Unlike the open design of its competitor, these true wireless earbuds sit directly inside the ear canal using soft silicone tips. This physical seal, combined with active hybrid noise cancellation, creates a quiet bubble around you. For someone working in a coffee shop, a busy open-plan office, or a noisy commute, this isolation is non-negotiable. The inclusion of dual 13mm low-distortion composite dynamic drivers suggests a richer, deeper sound profile compared to smaller drivers, promising high-fidelity audio that fills the room when needed.
When it comes to video conferencing, the FVYAO shines due to its Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology. If your job involves taking multiple Zoom calls a day and you are often surrounded by chatter, construction noise, or wind, the ANC features here provide a professional barrier that open-ear designs simply cannot match. The Bluetooth 6.0 chipset supports a stable connection range of up to 15 meters, allowing you to move around your home or office without dropouts. The low latency ensures that your voice syncs perfectly with video, eliminating that annoying delay that can ruin a conversation.
Battery life is another strong suit for this model, offering 8 hours of continuous listening on a single charge and up to 42 hours total with the case. This makes it perfect for long workdays or international flights where charging opportunities are scarce. The fast charging capability via Type-C ensures you can top up quickly if you forget to charge overnight. However, the trade-off is the in-ear fit. While ergonomic, putting anything inside your ear canal for extended periods can lead to ear fatigue for some users. Additionally, because they isolate noise so well, you must be mindful of your surroundings when walking outdoors, as you won't hear approaching vehicles or announcements. These are best for stationary work, travel, or focused listening sessions rather than high-intensity outdoor activities where awareness is critical.
• Best for battery life → otinsile M97, with a total capacity of 50 hours compared to the FVYAO's 42 hours.
• Best for battery endurance per charge → FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling, offering 8 hours on a single charge versus the M97's 6 hours.
• Best for situational awareness → otinsile M97, thanks to its open-ear design that lets you hear the world around you.
• Best for noise isolation → FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling, utilizing hybrid ANC to actively block out external sounds.
• Best for sports and running → otinsile M97, featuring a secure C-shaped hook and featherlight 4g weight that won't slip or cause pressure.
• Best for multipoint bluetooth earbuds for zoom calls → FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling, with its superior ENC and in-ear seal for clear voice pickup in chaotic environments.
• Best for glasses wearers → otinsile M97, as the open design avoids the pain of earbud tips pressing against temple arms.
• Best for immersive music → FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling, leveraging larger 13mm drivers and active cancellation for a studio-like experience.
• Best for durability in sweat → Both offer IPX5 waterproofing, but the otinsile M97's open structure may dry faster after heavy rain or sweat exposure.
• Best for stability in motion → otinsile M97, as the clip-on mechanism is physically locked onto the ear rather than relying on friction tips.
In my opinion, I would buy the otinsile M97 for my daily routine if my primary focus was staying active while working remotely. The ability to take a Zoom call while keeping one eye on the road or hearing the gym environment is a game-changer that I value more than perfect sound isolation. However, if my day was strictly office-based and filled with constant distractions, I would switch to the FVYAO for its superior call clarity and noise blocking. Ultimately, for zoom calls specifically, the otinsile M97 wins for me because it balances communication with safety and comfort in a way that closed earbuds cannot, provided you aren't in a deafeningly loud factory setting.
Yes, the otinsile M97 is specifically designed with an open-ear clip that avoids pressure on the temples, making it ideal for glasses wearers who find standard earbuds painful.
Both models utilize advanced Bluetooth 6.0 for stable connections, but the FVYAO emphasizes seamless auto-reconnection and pairing for office environments, while the otinsile focuses on wide-range stability for outdoor movement.
The FVYAO Active Noise Cancelling features dedicated ENC technology and dual drivers designed to filter out background noise for clearer calls, whereas the otinsile relies on directional audio which is excellent but less effective in extremely loud settings.
The FVYAO offers up to 8 hours of continuous playtime, while the otinsile M97 provides 6 hours on a single charge, though both include cases that extend total usage significantly.
