◁ Desktop background, processed slightly differently to the album cover. Snapmap doesn't have a photo mode so I had to manually remove the HUD, some remnants are visible as I just did this desktop quickly for myself
⇙ The band logo was made in Gran Turismo 7's design editor, just like my other one Magnetic Monster, and the Deceiver one at the bottom that was inspired by Doom
▷ The album cover was made using a portion of a
sky texture from Doom Snapmap, then did lot of processing in Paint.net
The album will have the band logo as a sticker on the cover, so that when the booklet is taken out, the red detail on the planet that was under the logo will be revealed
(see it in the desktop art above)
◁ Draft of a celestial scene that I made from scratch
Look closely, there's more colour than you think, the smallest stars. They're not exactly dots either, some have morphing that I've seen in space pics
The clouds were also made from scratch, starting with simple shapes then heavily processing including image distortions
I'll keep updating this as I progress thru it
