I’ve launched an initiative called The Sola Verum Protocol — my personal mission to defend truth in an era where deception wears a digital face.
It began after I was personally deceived by an AI-generated video of Eminem singing Christian songs — a video so convincing that I initially believed it was genuine. Only later did I learn it was fake, and even worse, that other AI models had been used to generate alternate religious versions of the same artist. It struck me deeply. When AI begins to play puppeteer with faith and identity, we cross a moral line.
That moment became the spark for Sola Verum — “Only Truth.”
I’ve chosen to stand for authenticity in every image, voice, and story I publish. As both a writer and a digital craftsman, I understand how easily truth can be twisted — a sentence reshaped, a face repainted, a voice reconstructed. And while I make use of AI to refine my own ideas, I refuse to let it replace them. AI should never be a mask for deceit.
My hope is to collaborate with individuals, organisations, and ethical developers who share that same conviction: that artificial intelligence must serve integrity, not illusion.
As a self-publishing author, journalist, and web designer who’s been online since 1999, I’ve seen the internet grow from dial-up dream to digital empire. I built my first websites back when HTML was written by hand and search engines were still finding their feet. Before that, I was already tinkering with machines — from the Commodore VIC-20 to today’s Linux systems — always exploring how technology could extend human creativity, not replace it.
But over the decades, I’ve also seen the other side: misinformation weaponised, propaganda packaged as news, and now, deepfakes blurring the boundary between truth and fiction. I refuse to stand by while deception becomes the new normal.
That’s why The Sola Verum Protocol exists — to push back. To remind the digital world that truth still matters, and that the fingerprints of authenticity are worth preserving.
Though my writing schedule is full, I’m opening space to work with organisations that share these values. I’ll contribute articles and commentary — sometimes for pay, sometimes for purpose — depending on the cause. What matters most is that the message aligns with the truth.
Technology is a gift, but without conscience, it becomes a weapon.
Sola Verum is my call to keep the human soul in the loop.
Wherever AI is used on this site, it is applied with discretion, integrity, and care. Its purpose is to enhance the user experience — never to create sensationalism or to distort the truth in any way.
