Otavio Conceição

Hi everyone! Welcome to my website!

My name is Otavio Canozzi Conceição and I am an applied microeconomist who is passionate about development and data. My research uses household survey, census and administrative data to shed light on important issues for governments and societies in the fields of education, poverty, labor and public finance.

I am currently an ET Consultant  in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice at the World Bank . Before joining the World Bank, I worked as a Research Associate at J-PAL and as an Impact Evaluation Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

I hold a PhD degree in Economics from Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV-EESP).
