Oshkosh African Violet Society

Welcome to the Oshkosh African Violet Society's website!

Like the Club, the website was also created to connect with the community in various ways and by including upcoming African Violet and related plant events.

Everyone is welcome to attend meetings to learn more about the club. Attending for the educational topic only is also an option, we just enjoy meeting other African Violet and Gesnariad enthusiasts. Check the calendar of events for meeting dates, location and education topics. If you’d like to become a member there is a small yearly membership fee per year which is due annually.

About the

The club is an affiliate to the Wisconsin Council of African Violet Clubs (WCAVC) & membership with our club includes membership in WCAVC. The club is also an affiliate to the African Violet Society of America (AVSA). Membership with AVSA is not included with a club membership and it is not required to be a club member. However, members of the AVSA do receive AVSA publication discounts and subscription to AVSA magazine.

Our club meets monthly February through November; in December there is a holiday gathering and the club does not meet in January.

We meet in Oshkosh; however, members come from Appleton, Cedarburg, Delafield, Fond du Lac, Germantown, Greenville, Madison, Milwaukee, Omro, Oshkosh, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls and Waukesha.
