I like to apply solutions based on artificial intelligence to address problems in different areas such as robotics, autonomous intelligent systems, well-being, and quality of life technologies in general, with the main aim of improving people's daily life.

Short bio
I am a WASP-AI Associate Professor (Docent) at Örebro University (ORU), Sweden. Before joining ORU I was a senior researcher (Ramon y Cajal) at the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT). From 2013 to 2015 I was a (Senior) Lecturer at the University of Lincoln, UK. From 2010 to 2012 I was a postdoctoral fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) working with Prof. Tsutomu Hasegawa and Prof. Ryo Kurazume at Kyushu University, Japan, where I keep a position as a collaborative researcher. From 2009 to 2010 I was a postdoctoral fellow (Juan de la Cierva) at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. I got my MSc (2005) and PhD (2008) from the University of Freiburg, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Wolfram Burgard.
