Effective date: September 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Llama App Studios ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the OurStickerBook mobile application (the "App"). We are based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
If you have questions or requests about your data, contact us at llamaappstudios@gmail.com.
Account information. You can use the App anonymously or sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. Depending on the method, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. Anonymous accounts have no personal identifiers beyond a randomly generated user ID.
Content you create. Photos and short video clips (animated stamps) you capture or import, the stickers made from them, book titles, page text, secret messages, comments and emoji reactions you leave on stamps, and profile pictures. Animated stamps are silent — the App never records audio. This content is uploaded to our servers so it can sync across your devices and with members of your shared books. Comments and reactions are only possible in shared books and on Daily Boards, and are visible to the people who can see the stamp they belong to.
Book membership. When you create or redeem an invite, we record which books you belong to and which books you own.
Friend connections. When you use the friends feature, we store your personal friend code, the friends you have connected with, pending friend requests, book invitations, and your block list on our servers. Nobody becomes your friend without accepting a request. If you regenerate your friend code, the old one stops working immediately.
Reports you file. If you report a person, a sticker, or a comment, we receive your report, your user ID, the reported person's user ID or content (including a copy of a reported comment's text), and any note you include, so we can review it and act on it.
Device and usage data. We use Google Firebase to operate the App, which collects device identifiers, coarse device information (model, OS version, language), crash and diagnostic data, and app interaction events (such as which screens are used). We use this to run, debug, and improve the App.
Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a device token so we can notify you — for example when someone adds a stamp to a shared book, sends you a friend request, accepts your request, or invites you to a book. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
Presence. While you have a shared book open, we briefly record that you are active so book-mates can see you are there. This is a timestamp, not your location.
Advertising data. The free tier is ad-supported: Google AdMob serves occasional ads inside books, occasional full-screen ads between activities, and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch for extra stamps. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob collects device advertising identifiers and related data. Where required, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can decline without losing access to the App. Premium subscribers never see ads.
Purchase state. Digital purchases are processed by Apple. We receive entitlement information (for example, that your device has an active subscription) but never your payment details.
Printed books and merchandise orders. When you order a physical product, we collect the shipping name, address, an optional phone number for the courier, and the email address for order updates, together with the print files rendered from your content. Payment is taken by Stripe on our behalf: we receive the payment status and the last four digits and card brand for support, never your full card number. Order details and the print files are kept for the period described in section 6.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or health data. The "Add Someone Nearby" feature does not use location — see section 3. We do not scan or analyze the content of your photos for advertising. Sticker cut-out and rendering happen entirely on your device.
We use the information described above to:
provide the core service: storing your books and stickers, syncing them across devices, and sharing them with the members of your books;
send account emails, such as the verification link when you sign up with an email address and password-reset links you request (social features require a verified email);
operate the friends feature: delivering friend requests, connecting accepted friends, honoring blocks, and delivering book invitations;
review reports of misuse and enforce our Terms of Service;
send push notifications you have enabled;
enforce daily quotas and deliver purchased features;
serve ads to free-tier users, including optional rewarded ads;
measure aggregate usage, diagnose crashes, and improve the App;
remotely configure features and limits; and
comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the photos you upload for marketing, advertising, or training machine-learning models.
OurStickerBook is a social app by design:
Content you place in a shared book is visible to all members of that book, and members can edit or remove content within the book.
Daily Boards. Every user has a Daily Board that their friends can view and stick stamps on. A stamp you place on a friend's board can be seen by that friend's other friends, who may not be your friends. People who are not your friends do not see the stamp's content — only its outline (a silhouette) and your display name, with the option to send you a friend request. The board's owner can remove any stamp from their own board, and any comment left on it. Board stamps, and their reactions, comments, and images, are permanently deleted from our servers about 24 hours after they are placed.
Comments. You can delete your own comments at any time. The owner of a book or Daily Board can delete any comment on it. Blocking someone hides their comments from you.
Seen-by receipts. When you view a friend's Daily Board, the board's owner can see that you looked and roughly when. This is a timestamp, not your location.
Your display name and profile photo are visible to users you share a book with, to anyone you send a friend request to, to your friends, and — as described above — to viewers of a Daily Board you have posted on.
Friend requests. Anyone who has your friend code or friend link can send you a request and will see your display name and profile photo when they do. Friendships only form when a request is accepted.
Nearby discovery. "Add Someone Nearby" uses your device's local network (peer-to-peer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) to find friends physically near you. Your display name is broadcast only to nearby devices, and only while that screen is open. This feature does not use or reveal your location, and nothing is sent to our servers until both people confirm the connection.
Blocking. If you block someone, they can no longer send you friend requests or join new books with you. We do not notify people that they have been blocked, and your block list is visible only to you.
Your personal shelf and books that you have not shared are visible only to you.
Only invited members can access a book. There are no public books, public profiles, or discovery features.
We use a small number of service providers to operate the App:
Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, file storage, push notifications, analytics, remote configuration, and cloud functions. Your content and account data are stored on Firebase servers, currently located in the United States.
Google AdMob (Google LLC) — rewarded video advertising for free-tier users. AdMob's use of data is described in Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from ads.
Apple — sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and push notification delivery, under Apple's own privacy policy.
Stripe, Inc. — payment processing for printed books and merchandise. Stripe receives your card details and billing information directly and acts as an independent controller for fraud prevention, under Stripe's privacy policy.
Prodigi Group Ltd (books) and Printful, Inc. (merchandise) — print production and shipping. They receive your shipping name and address, optional phone number, order email, and the print files for your order, solely to produce and deliver it, and may pass the delivery details to postal carriers.
Resend, Inc. — delivery of order confirmation, shipping, and delivery emails to the address you give at checkout.
These providers process data on our behalf (or, in the case of ads and purchases, as independent controllers) and are not permitted to use your content for their own purposes beyond what is described in their policies.
We are a Canadian business, and our service providers store data primarily in the United States. By using the App, you understand that your information is transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. We rely on our providers' standard contractual safeguards for these transfers.
While your account is active, we keep your content so your books remain available to you and your book-mates.
Automatic cleanup. In-app notification feed items and unanswered friend requests are deleted automatically after 30 days. Daily Board stamps — including their images, reactions, and comments — are permanently deleted from our servers about 24 hours after they are placed, as are any remaining legacy "24 hours" stamps in books.
Deleting content. Stamps, pages, and books you delete are removed from the App for all members.
Orders. Unpaid checkouts you delete (and their print files) are removed immediately. Records of paid orders — what was ordered, where it shipped, and what was charged — stay in your account, with their print files, so a damaged or misprinted item can be reprinted and so you can track them. Deleting your account removes them along with the rest of your content. The payment record itself (amount, date, card brand and last four digits) is retained by Stripe and in our accounting records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally seven years.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the App's settings. This permanently deletes your profile, your owned books and their images, your personal shelf, your notification tokens, your friend code, your friendships, pending friend requests, book invitations, your block list, and your authentication record from our systems. Content you contributed to books owned by other users remains part of those books unless you delete it first.
Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being purged. Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be retained. Reports you were named in may be retained as long as needed for safety and legal purposes.
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to book content is enforced server-side so that only a book's members can read or write it. Friend connections are enforced server-side the same way: only mutual acceptance creates a friendship, and blocks are honored everywhere a connection could form. No system is perfectly secure, so please use the App's sharing features thoughtfully and keep your sign-in credentials safe.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at llamaappstudios@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
You can exercise most of these rights directly in the App: edit your profile in settings, delete individual content, unfriend or block people, or delete your account entirely. For anything else — or to lodge a concern — email us at llamaappstudios@gmail.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority; in Canada, that is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
App Tracking Transparency. You can allow or deny tracking for ads in the iOS prompt or later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Ads and the free tier. The free tier shows occasional ads in books and between activities; rewarded ads are always optional and only appear when you choose to watch one. Premium subscribers never see ads of any kind.
Push notifications can be turned off in iOS Settings at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top indicates the latest revision.
