PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how Tubee Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use OS Launcher 27 (the “Application”).

By using the Application, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Application.

1. ABOUT THE APPLICATION

OS Launcher 27 is an Android home screen and launcher application that allows users to customize and manage their device’s home screen, application icons, widgets, wallpapers, folders, and related personalization features.

The Application does not require users to create an account, and we do not operate a server that stores user profiles.

2. INFORMATION PROCESSED BY THE APPLICATION

2.1 Personal information

We do not require or collect personal information such as your name, personal email address, phone number, postal address, or payment card information.

If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information you voluntarily include in your message. This information is used only to respond to your request and provide support.

2.2 Installed applications

As an Android launcher, the Application accesses information about applications installed on your device, including application names, icons, package names, launch activities, and related application metadata. This access uses the Android QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission.

This information is required to display, organize, search, and launch applications from your home screen and app list. The Application also stores which applications you have most recently opened from the launcher, in order to fill the “Suggested apps” widget and to sort search results.

Installed application information is processed locally on your device. We do not upload, share, or sell your list of installed applications.

2.3 Device and application information

The Application’s third-party service providers may automatically process certain technical information, including:

• Device model and manufacturer

• Operating system and Android version

• Application version

• Language and regional settings

• Screen size and device configuration

• Advertising identifiers

• IP address

• Advertisement interactions

• Diagnostic and performance data

This information is processed by Google as part of serving advertisements and providing Google Play services. It may be used to operate the Application, display advertisements, prevent fraud, and diagnose technical issues.

2.4 Photos and media

The Application allows you to select photos or other media for features such as photo widgets, wallpapers, and home screen personalization.

The Application accesses only the photos or the folder you select using Android’s own picker. It does not request broad media permissions such as READ_MEDIA_IMAGES.

Selected photos are copied at a reduced size into the Application’s private storage on your device so they can be displayed and blurred. They are not uploaded to any server, and they are excluded from Android cloud backup.

You can remove access to selected photos or media by removing the relevant widget or wallpaper, clearing the Application’s data, or uninstalling the Application.

2.5 Location information

If you add the weather widget, the Application requests the ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permission so the widget can show the forecast for your area. It is requested once, and used only while you are using the Application. The Application does not request precise location or background location.

This permission is optional. If you decline, the widget works from a city you pick from a list built into the Application.

Coordinates are rounded to an area of about 5 kilometres before they leave your device. Your exact position is never sent.

The Application keeps the rounded coordinates of at most twelve recently viewed areas on your device, so the widget works offline. This permission is not used for advertising. See section 5.

2.6 Information stored locally

The Application stores preferences and configuration data locally on your device, including:

• Home screen layout

• Folders and icon positions

• Widget configurations

• Weather widget area or city, and recently fetched forecasts

• Themes and appearance settings

• Selected wallpaper or photo references

• Language, grid size, and other application preferences

This information is used to maintain your chosen setup and is removed when you clear the Application’s data or uninstall the Application.

If Android backup is enabled on your device, your layout and preferences may be included in the backup that Android makes to your own Google account, so that they can be restored on a new device. The weather widget's chosen area is part of your layout, so the rounded coordinates described in section 2.5 may be included in that backup. That backup is performed by Android and we have no access to it. Your photos and wallpapers are excluded from that backup and remain on your device only.

2.7 Android permissions used

The Application requests one runtime (“dangerous”) permission, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, and only if you add the weather widget. You may decline it. The Application does not access your contacts, calendar, microphone, or camera, it does not read your notifications, and it does not use an Android accessibility service. The permissions it declares are:

• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES — to list, display, and launch the applications installed on your device

• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — optional, only for the weather widget, to show the forecast for your approximate area. Foreground only, never precise or background location

• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to load advertisements and, if you add the weather widget, weather data

• AD_ID — the advertising identifier used by Google AdMob

• SET_WALLPAPER — only for the optional “use for the whole device” option, which applies your selected wallpaper to the system lock screen

• REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES — to open Android’s own uninstall dialog when you remove an application from the home screen

3. ADVERTISING

The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Advertisements are shown only inside the Application’s own settings and configuration screens, which you reach by tapping the application icon. No advertisements are shown on the launcher home screen, in search, in the app library, or when you press the Home button.

Google and its advertising partners may collect or process information such as:

• Advertising identifiers

• IP address

• Device and application information

• Approximate location derived from an IP address

• Advertisement interactions

• Application interactions

• Diagnostic and performance information

This information may be used to deliver advertisements, limit advertisement frequency, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize advertisements.

Depending on your location, the Application may ask for consent before information is used for personalized advertising. If you do not consent, you may still receive non-personalized or limited advertisements.

You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

4. ANALYTICS AND CRASH REPORTING

The Application does not include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any other analytics or crash reporting service. We do not collect usage statistics or crash reports.

Limited diagnostic and performance information may still be processed by Google as part of Google Play services and Google AdMob, as described in sections 2.3 and 3.

5. WEATHER SERVICES

The Application includes an optional weather widget. The widget is only present if you add it to your home screen. It shows the forecast for your area if you granted the optional location permission described in section 2.5, or for a city you pick from a list built into the Application.

To retrieve a forecast, the Application sends coordinates rounded to an area of about 5 kilometres, together with the application name and version, to a third-party weather provider. The weather provider also receives technical information such as your IP address as part of normal internet communication. No account, advertising identifier, or device identifier is sent.

Forecasts are cached on your device so the widget works offline. We do not store these requests, as we operate no server of our own. If you remove the widget, no further requests are made.

6. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Information described in this Privacy Policy may be used to:

• Provide and maintain the Application

• Display and organize installed applications

• Save home screen and personalization settings

• Provide widget, weather, wallpaper, and photo features

• Display and measure advertisements

• Detect, prevent, and resolve fraud or technical issues

• Respond to support requests

• Comply with legal obligations

• Protect users, our rights, and the security of the Application

7. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed or shared in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We use third-party providers to operate specific parts of the Application, namely advertising and weather information.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Protection and security

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, enforce applicable terms, protect users, or protect our rights, property, and security.

Business transfer

If the Application or its assets are transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Application uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services

• Google AdMob

• MET Norway (only if you add the weather widget)

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies.

9. DATA RETENTION

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Application, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

Launcher layouts, preferences, selected photos, and widget configurations are stored locally on your device. You can delete this information by clearing the Application’s data or uninstalling the Application.

Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain support records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Information processed by third-party providers is retained according to their respective retention policies.

10. DATA DELETION

The Application does not require a user account and does not maintain a server-based user profile, so there is no account for us to delete.

You may delete locally stored information by:

• Removing the relevant widget, wallpaper, or configuration

• Clearing the Application’s storage or data in Android Settings → Apps → OS Launcher 27 → Storage

• Uninstalling the Application, which removes all locally stored data

Please provide enough information for us to identify and process your request. We may need to retain certain information when required by law or for legitimate security and recordkeeping purposes.

11. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

Depending on your device, region, and Application version, you may be able to:

• Select only specific photos or a specific folder for photo features

• Reset or delete your advertising identifier

• Manage advertisement personalization

• Change consent choices where available

• Add or remove the weather widget

• Clear locally stored Application data

• Uninstall the Application

• Contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights

Application permissions can be managed under:

Android Settings → Apps → OS Launcher 27 → Permissions

Advertising preferences may be managed through your Android or Google account settings.

12. EUROPEAN PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including the right to:

• Request access to personal data

• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Request deletion of data

• Request restriction of processing

• Object to certain processing

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

• Request data portability, where applicable

• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Depending on the activity, personal data may be processed on the basis of:

• Your consent, for personalized advertising

• Performance of a service requested by you, such as retrieving weather for your chosen area or city

• Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Application

• Compliance with legal obligations

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

13. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy laws, including the right to request information about the categories of personal information collected, used, disclosed, shared, or sold, and the right to request access, correction, or deletion.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Certain advertising activities performed by third-party advertising providers may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where required, users may manage consent or advertising choices through the Application, device settings, or Google advertising controls.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

14. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Third-party providers used by the Application may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States and Norway.

Where required, service providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data. Their processing practices are governed by their respective privacy policies and legal commitments. We do not transfer or store your data ourselves.

15. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Application is not designed or specifically directed toward children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable local law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children below the applicable minimum age.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at candystarvn@gmail.com. If we determine that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

16. DATA SECURITY

Information handled by the Application is stored in Android’s private per-application storage, protected by the operating system’s application sandbox and by your device encryption. All internet requests made by the Application use secure HTTPS connections.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and Google accounts.

17. DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” signals. There is currently no universally accepted standard for responding to these signals.

The Application does not independently respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals. You may manage Application permissions, advertising preferences, and consent choices using the controls described in this Privacy Policy.

18. EXTERNAL LINKS

The Application launches other applications and websites at your request, and may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third parties. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party service you use.

19. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application, legal requirements, or third-party services change.

The updated version will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Changes become effective when the updated Privacy Policy is published, unless otherwise stated.

We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
