Oru Kutty Community was founded in 2024 and is run by Joefin Peter, a Certified Doula & Sexual Health Educator located in New Westminster. She can support you through sexuality/fertility, labour/birth, postpartum/parenting, & loss/abortion. 

She started Oru Kutty Community as a way to address mental, sexual & reproductive health through education, support & advocacy. You've come to the right place if you are looking for inclusive, trauma-informed & feminist support that is culturally-safe.

We aim to challenge & reduce the intersectional barriers marginalized communities face when accessing mental and reproductive health services & comprehensive (evidence-based, trauma-informed, & queer-affirming) sexual health education. 

OKC works in the intersection where culture/traditions and religion/spirituality influences mental, sexual, and reproductive health. Joefi’s conducted and published research in this area.  This is a niche with a lot of taboos, mis/disinformation, & misconceptions. Luckily, myth-busting is Joefi’s superpower!
