The Symbol of Faith
I believe in [One God 1], [The Father 2] [Almighty 3], [Creator of heaven and earth 4], and [of all things visible and invisible 5].
And in [One Lord 6] [Jesus Christ 7], [The Son of God 8], [the Only-Begotten 9], [Begotten of The Father before all ages 10]. [Light of Light 11]; [True God of True God 12]; [Begotten, not made 13]; [of One Essence with The Father 14], [by Whom all things were made 15]; [Who for us men 16] and [for our salvation 17] [came down from Heaven 18], and [took flesh of The Holy Spirit and The Virgin Mary 19], and [became man 20]. And [He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate 21], and [suffered 22], and [was buried 23]. And [the third day He rose again 24], [according to the Scriptures 25]; and [ascended into heaven 26], and [sits at the right of The Father 27]; and [He shall come again with Glory 28] [to judge the living and the dead 29]; [Whose Kingdom shall have no end 30].
And in [The Holy Spirit 31], [The Lord 32], [The Giver of Life 33], [Who proceeds from The Father 34]; [Who with The Father and The Son together is worshipped and glorified 35]; [Who spoke by the prophets 36]. [In One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church 37]. I acknowledge [One Baptism for the remission of sins 38]. I look for [the resurrection of the dead 39], and [the life of the world to come 40].
