Maya/UV Rizom/substance Painter/Arnold/Nuke/Premiere
I received this camera as a present, so I wanted to create a CGI version of it, which was also the perfect challenging project, considering the level of detail it has.
For this project, I just started with the proxy on Maya and polished it until I got everything in place. Then I made the UVs in UV Rizom to be able to develop the textures in Substance Painter, which was challenging because I made every single detail on the camera lens using painted Normals. I added micro-details with anchor points to finally come back to Maya, where I set up all the textures in an aiStandar Surface material. I played with sort of minimalist lighting to then get it ready to render. I added some shaders in Arnold. The fun part was creating custom Shaders for the Rim and Key lights to control them separately in Nuke. Finally, I made a simple compo in Nuke and the video process in Premiere Pro.
