This was a very fun project that I made because I am a huge fan of sneakers and, in particular, this release from Nike is one of my favourite ones. A remake of the oldie amazing shape from the 70's Nike model, which I bought 2 years ago, so I had the opportunity to inspire myself and take a look at the real ones.
I started this project using Zbrush to get the volume and main shape, to then exported it to Maya and re-topo with a quadro tool to make a nice topology. After that, I made the UVs on UV Rizom to be able to develop textures on Substance Painter using some micro details on the seams and leather texture to get more realism plus I used Xgen to give some detail to the fabric on the shoelaces to finally made the lights on Maya, rendering on Arnold with some AOVs to enhance a little bit the render in photoshop.
