Stipend funds are paid in monthly installment checks of $84, to reimburse families for approved purchases. This is to cover supplemental curriculum and enrichment activities such as music classes or subscriptions. Vendors need to be approved. The stipend can also be used to cover field trip fees. Non-consumable materials need to be returned at the end of the year.
Chromebooks may be loaned from the school.
Print curriculum is available for all grades, or students can use a blend of online and print. Parents can choose from a short list of approved curriculum. Alternative parent curriculum choices are treated on a case by case basis, subject to approval.
Grades K-8 may use supplemental online curriculum through MobyMax and IXL.
Grades 6-8 use Edgenuity for core online classes, and print or online for supplemental work.
Students are welcome and encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular classes at a local Yamhill district school, such as music, PE, assemblies and sports. Academy staff will help coordinate with the local principals.
Yamhill Alliance Academy schedules regular field trips, in-person seminars, and a variety of opportunities to interact with other students who share like interests.

Special education services are provided by the school district staff, at school locations.
One face-to-face visit per month, this can be at the student's home, at the school, or a nearby business. Parents submit a weekly attendance report form and a PE activity log. Assessments and work samples are collected regularly.
