Evening stroll

Quite often after a series of good days, do I begin to forget, what drives me to the blaze.

I then somehow know that it's time to pause, and hunt for a change without a reason or a clause. So I put on my music, and head out for a stroll, to find anything new, either big or even small.

Like a kid who slept through the evening feels remorse, for having missed the play and the running like a horse.

I make sure, that I don't miss a chance to witness, the surreal sunset and the resulting blissfulness.

On some days, the clouds compliment beautifully to the sun,

and on some days, the sun peeks through the trees near the horizon.

At times the flood light looks like a star hovering over the ground,

and at times the rain imprints such jagged patterns all around.

And almost always, this doggo can be found, with kids playing football on the playground.

Like a player he runs and kicks the ball along, just don't know to which team does he belongs.

And when he sits quietly on a side of the running tracks, I pat him after each of my walk laps.

Other dogs fight, which they seem to enjoy, but this one grins, as if he is saying, "Ain't I a good boy?"

And when the sky gets dusky, I head back to my lab, sometimes to discover the piece I was missing in the pile of scrap.

But if it so happens that I still miss my spark, I keep my hope for tomorrow to bring me a new direction to embark.
