Order Expense Tracker for Amazon ("the extension") helps you see how much you spend on Amazon (amazon.com and amazon.com.mx) each month.
The extension runs only on your amazon.com order history pages. When you view those pages, or when you click Sync, it reads:
- order numbers
- order dates
- order totals
- order status (for example, cancelled or returned)
- item names
- links to the orders
If you set a monthly budget, it also reads the order total on the checkout page to compare it with your budget. It uses only the order total from that page. Nothing else from checkout (address, payment details, items) is saved.
This information is saved only on your computer, in your browser's extension storage (`chrome.storage.local`).
It is not synced to other devices.
Nothing beyond showing it to you. The extension has no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Your data is never sent to the developer or to anyone else, and it is never sold or shared.
- Click **Clear data** in the extension to delete everything it has stored.
- Removing the extension from Chrome also deletes all of its data.
- **Export CSV** gives you a copy of your data whenever you want it.
