Hey everyone! My name is Valerie Rodriguez and I am excited to be serving as your 2022-2023 Orange County Federation Sentinel!

I am a junior at Colonial High School and this is my 3rd year in FFA. Additionally, I currently serve as the president for the Orlando Colonial FFA chapter. I have competed in multiple CDE's and LDE's with my favorites being parliamentary procedures and food science. Additionally I show poultry and rabbits at CFF and Florida State Fair.

I am so EXCITED for this year and can't wait to meet you all!!!

Large Fowl Phoenix Chickens

My favorite part of FFA has to be my SAE project; raising, showing and breeding Large Fowl Phoenix Chickens! I currently own 2 hens and a rooster but plan on buying more chickens this year. I have had these chickens for a year and you can find me showing them at Florida State Fair and Central Florida Fair.

All of my schedule revolves around FFA, I make the best memories during these events. From creating inside jokes at forestry contests to making embarrassing memories at fair, FFA has really become a big and enjoyable part of my life.
