1. As oracle user execute run Installer, select " Install and Configure Grid Infrastructure for a cluster " and click next
2. Select Advanced Installation and click on next
3. By default English language will be selected, click next if it is OK
4. Enter the cluster-name, scan-name and scan-port and uncheck configure GNS and click next
5. Select the hostnames and vip names if not already populated, if only node1 details are populated then click on add two enter node2 details
6. Click on SSH Connectivity to test the ssh setup
7. Verify the interface names, IP addresses and interface types and click next
8. Select ASM as storage for OCR and Voting Disk and click next
9. Enter a disk group name and select the ASM disk for that disk group. Select the redundancy as External if no failure groups to be configured.

10. Set a password for ASM accounts and click next
11. Select do not use IPMI and click next
12. Select a group for asm accounts and click next
13. Enter the locations for Oracle Base and Grid Home and click next
14. Save Response File and click on Finish
Remote attach home failed during installation, I manually ran the script provided in the installation window after the installation
Run root.sh in the order specified
Ensure that the installation was successful
Check the status of cluster resources
Everything is up and running, Oracle did its job well.
