OptiPrompt is a browser extension that helps users optimize AI prompts while preserving their original meaning. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Extension processes and how it is used.
When you use OptiPrompt, the Extension may process:
Prompt text that you choose to optimize.
Extension settings, such as your selected AI model and preferences.
Your OpenRouter API key, if you choose to provide one.

Send optimization requests to the OpenRouter API.
OptiPrompt stores the following information locally in your browser using Chrome's storage APIs:

Selected AI model
Extension settings and preferences
This information remains on your device unless you remove it or uninstall the Extension.
When you choose to optimize a prompt, the prompt text is sent to the OpenRouter API to generate an optimized result.

Sell user data.
Share user data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Use user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's functionality.
Data stored by the Extension remains in your browser. While reasonable measures are taken to protect data, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
