Consider getting a formal evaluation, especially if your student plans to go to college. A diagnosis will ensure that proper accommodations will be provided for support. Even if you do not seek an evaluation, it will be helpful to you as their teacher to keep accommodations in mind. These things will 'even the playing field' for your child.
