Hey guys, I just bought the chinese version of the Find N3, and I was wondering if it was possible to grab the firmware file from say, the australian version of the Find N3 when its released at the end of the month, and flash it onto my phone?

I have just bought a second-hand Oppo Find X6 Pro and it has a global ROM on it. I don't know how they did it because there's no global version of the phone, but I think they might have tweaked the firmware because everything seems valid, except it hasn't got any updates and its security patch is of June which is pretty behind for this device. This is the version on it: PGEM10_13.1.1.144(EX01). The (EX01) OPPO Reno 10 Pro 5G has it and it stands for a European version, I think. That's why I say they might have tweaked something because even Google recognizes the device as OPPO Reno 10 Pro 5G.

I try to update my X01 Eagle AXS Firmware from the Android app, but it never ends.

Similar situation described at: -sram-axs-mobile/suggestions/39534844-firmware-update-revert

But it never completes successfully. Now it remains in recovery mode and I can't use it!

My SRAM ID is this same email (santus76@gmail.com).

Please note: We tested the Find X2 Pro using firmware that Oppo plans to provide to customers by mid-April, thus the device we tested is a pre-production unit. As we always do in these cases, we will repeat the test with a commercial device when available to confirm that the image quality is identical

Warning: Although firmware upgrade is an easy and usually trouble-free process, it is important to ensure that the power supply to the player is stable, and the upgrade process is not interrupted. A failed firmware upgrade can render the player unusable.

Once this firmware version is installed on the player, you will not be able to revert back to any previous official or public beta firmware. There will be no problem upgrading to any future official or beta firmware release.

You can find your device's Android version number, security update level and Google Play system level in your Settings app. You'll get notifications when updates are available for you. You can also check for updates.

Oppo Stock ROM is essentially firmware that is specific to a particular device. It contains all the necessary files and software that allow the device to operate correctly. Installing a stock ROM can eliminate any software issues you may be facing and restore the machine to its original state.

While in general third-party firmware (Custom ROM) has system bugs and stability issues. In this case, you may experience battery issues, network issues, camera issues, missing features, lags, overheating, slow performance, and many more. But whenever you switch to Stock ROM, you can quickly fix them all.

[*] After flashing (installing) the Oppo Stock ROM on your device, you may need to flash (install) the IMEI using the IMEI tool provided with the firmware file. If you are going to flash the IMEI, then flash the Original IMEI that comes with your device.

Taking photos using the rear cameras: As I mentioned in my Find N3 Flip review, taking selfies or group photos is one of my favorite ways to use the cover screen. That's because you can use the cover screen as a viewfinder for any of the three rear cameras, which include a 50-megapixel main lens, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens. Here's how to take photos with the rear cameras from the cover screen.

Depending on the Google camera version either the app has a forced Astrophotography in the night sight, aka night mode, or you will find this feature in the GCam settings menu on the Oppo Find N3. Make sure to hold your phone still or use a tripod to avoid any moments.

Hi, my phone cannt be switch on. But when i charge it, it shows that the phone has very low batery with red signal. So it told me to charge the phone first, but i already charge it for 6hours plus and it still cannot be open. My battery is built in. It only show oppo words when i tried to open, but suddenly it blank back. Is that because of the battery or the software? I already update the software before this. Please help me

Your phone might have bootloop caused by software problem and it could be solve by hard reset. Hold volume up and power button at same time until screen shows oppo and small recovery mode text below. Just follow the wizard on screen to reset aka format and wipe cache so on.

There are also way to reset using pc and you can find tutorial on how to do that googling oppo hard reset or unbrick oppo. Mine has same problem too but it cannot enter recovery mode or recognized by pc. So just waiting for expert help on this

Speaking of the May 2023 firmware, the OPPO Find X3 handset owners can identify the new update with the ColorOS 13.0 build PEDM00_11_F.21. Whereas, the software package size is 438.55 Megabytes. Despite being medium-sized, the latest version does not disappoint its users in terms of offerings.

Note that the update procedure may take a few minutes to install the OTA package. Following the installation, the phone will restart to settle the latest firmware. Make sure that you have ample space and battery backup to continue with the process.

Please follow the step by step installation guide for cuBB located at NVIDIA Developer Zone - Aerial SDK.Please refer to the ASDK release above in the ARC software release manifest and find the instructions in archieve sector of link below.

Thanks to a full implementation of Android 5.0's Camera2 API the LG G4 comes with the ability to capture DNG Raw files. We developed the image below, which was shot in sunny high-contrast conditions, in Adobe Camera Raw to find out how much it could be improved in comparison to the out-of-camera JPEG. We tried to recover as much of the clipped highlights as possible and optimize image detail. The following parameters were used:

i hear different stories on camera of G4 and S6. Seems to me the G4 has a better camera, but S6 pics are more pleasing and it seems G4 pics are somewhat flat, especially nature seems to have too less contrast. Do you agree in your findings?

Also it seems that Moto X Style due to its sensor makes "better"pics, more natural, more depth and less digital. Also some reviewer said that S6 pics are worse when showed on a monitor comp when showed on its own display. Please your view on this.

On my G4, for pictures, I use stock camera since it's great, and for disabled noise reduction, both ProShot and Snap Camera. However, ProShot doesn't disable noise reduction in videos for now. Snap Camera, I am unable to test because when I take a video, it takes it but when I play it it says unsupported file format. I'll tell the dev about that because it seems like it does disable NR in the "viewfinder" while taking the video, result should be awesome.

@RamseyK, thanks a lot for the thorough feedback. I just picked up the LG G4 today; I couldn't pass on its value proposition compared to the S5 Neo (they're offered at the same price), plus LG has a better track record of keeping their flagships up to date with Android/firmware updates than Samsung. Speaking of which, and to your point, hopefully LG will update the G4 camera s/w to improve video quality (if they bring it up to the V10's level, which should be easy since both phones have the same hardware, it would be great!).

The screen is fine but I did not find it quite as bright and vibrant as on the Samsungs. Also, the battery life is clearly worse than on the S6 and Note 4. And yes, you are absolutely right, the G4 is the only high-end phone with removable battery and one of the few with microSD, so if that's important to you it's a good choice.
